The countdown to the Africa MICE Summit & Awards 2026 has become even more exciting. We are delighted to officially announce that this year's Summit will be hosted at the Tembo International Convention Centre, located within the PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa in Shanzu, Mombasa, Kenya.
From 1–2 October 2026, Africa's business events community will gather on Kenya's coastline for two days of thought leadership, networking, business development, destination promotion and industry celebration, all in one of East Africa's fastest-growing business events destinations.
Why Mombasa?
Every successful business event begins with choosing the right destination. Mombasa offers an exceptional blend of modern meetings infrastructure, rich cultural heritage, warm hospitality and unforgettable leisure experiences, making it an ideal destination for today's business traveller.
As global business events continue to embrace the concept of bleisure, where business and leisure seamlessly come together, Mombasa delivers the perfect balance. Delegates can spend the day engaging in strategic discussions, forging partnerships and exploring investment opportunities, then unwind along pristine beaches, experience authentic Swahili culture, enjoy world-class hospitality or discover the city's historic attractions.
Hosting the Summit in Mombasa also reflects the growing importance of diversifying Africa's business events destinations and showcasing the immense potential that coastal cities hold for conferences, exhibitions and incentive travel.
